Yeah, why i said “Hello World”? because this blog involving people all around the world.

Before you continue reading, let me apologize for my English.

Couchsurfing, is a traveler website where people can meet other travelers, travel together, host them or surf at their place for free. The idea is to help the traveler to do easy travel and do it in local way. and of course do culture exchange. Pretty much like that. Hehehe… Why I make this blog? because CouchSurfing changed my life. Definitely changed my life!!! I should have started to write this blog a year ago, but the stupidly this idea just came out this morning . Well anyways, better late than nothing, right?

The adventure of making the wold smaller began on the end of May 2010. I was planning to go for a vacation to Thailand with friends of mine and then i asked a friend from Singapore about the cheap place to stay in BKK, then Miss Verma Michelle answered ” Reni, join CouchSurfing and you can stay at local’s place for free”. I was like “No fuckin’ way!” (Sorry again for my English). Then i singed up the site and checked what is CouchSurfing really is!. I joined the Bali group and checked the post posted by other CSers (We called ourselves CSers or Couchsurfers).

I did not have courage to host at that time, I joined a small gathering posted by a girl… that’s when i met Titik Wahyuni (a CSers who is a good friend of mine now). There 4 of us, and I just listened the stories everyone told me since I’m a newbie. Wanted to know how the site works. Since then, i joined many gatherings, meet many people and started to host a month after i signed up the website.

Until today, I hosted 95 CSers from 29 Countries and surfed 3 CSers from 2 Countries. To see the stories about me and Cochsurfing, please read the posts
